Neighbourly-Takayama ,

yeah, wow.

I've always launched apps from the spotlight shortcode and partly because of that I heasitated for a long time to really try out Alfred, I figured I was alrealy lauching apps in pretty much the exact same way so why bother. Yup, I was missing out. Being able to type a safari shortcut and jump to that page was pretty impressive but when I hit up email " " the light bulb went off.

I know fully understand why Alfred users rave about the app. I won't be going back.

Great - but get the newest version from web

Tis becoming a trend for developers to release newer versions on their website. Eventually the App Store edition catches up but not always.

This is the case for this great productivity tool.

Although Alfred 1 will happily deliver a great deal of functionality, if you really want a block load of possibilities get Alfred 2 from their website.

Or in my case, get both versions as they can co-exist (why would you?…well I can’t answer that except it made sense to me to keep what I knew handy until I got used to the new version).

Great tool for saving time locating apps in LaunchPad. Keeps your desktop and dock clean of icons…. you won’t know how useful it is until you begin using it and find you can’t stop.

Very productive

Have to say,I just came from windows to Mac and this is one of the first apps I downloaded.
Its extremely productive as in just a few clicks the small app searches and knows your frequent usage.
Yet to explore the full nature of it but seems much easier than a spotlight search.
