If you're a musician who likes to learn new songs and techniques by listening to the same piece of music over and over but wish that the music could be played a little slower, then you'll enjoy Amazing Slow Downer.
You can repeat any section of the music at full speed, slow it down or even speed it up by changing the speed between 25% (1/4 of original speed) and 200% (double speed) without changing the pitch!
Change the tuning or musical key? No problem, Amazing Slow Downer handles that as well.
Setup seamless loops by touching the "Set" buttons during playback.
Amazing Slow Downer is the ideal tool for any musician, transcriber or dancer wanting to improve their skills.
New - Support for streaming "Apple Music" audio!
Note: Some functions such as "Pitch change" and "Equalizer" are not available when playing "Apple Music" songs.
Please note: Although we have never officially supported playback of Spotify audio, it nevertheless has worked very good. But according to Spotify, third party apps will not any longer have access to streaming Spotify content in a way that works for slowing down audio starting September 1, 2022.
According to Spotify, third party apps will not any longer have access to streaming Spotify content in a way that works for slowing down audio.
This will affect Amazing Slow Downer starting September 1, 2022.
We will do what we can to make Spotify reconsider this decision.
This change does NOT affect any other type of audio content that Amazing Slow Downer can play back.

Great for ballroom dancing
I use this app on my phone for dance practice, it is great for slowing down Viennese Waltz songs to New Vogue waltz speed. Also great to slow down music to practice things more slowly. I would love it if you added an option for Bars per Minute, or measures per minute, as this is how ballroom dances are measured. Pretty please!!
Developer Response ,
From the built in help:
"You may also display the speed as BPM (Beats Per Minute). Tap one of the labels on either side of the speed slider. This will open up a view where you can tap along the music to set the BPM value for the current song."
This app has made a very positive impact on the way I practice and transcribe music. I also use in all my lessons as a guitar teacher. The way in which your Apple Music library is automatically loaded on and is so accessible is the main draw. The looping functions were a little clunky at first (I’d love a punch in and out button that let you set loop points as you play) but works well once you get used to it.
If the developer is reading this, thank you so much, this has made a huge contribution to my practice and I’m recommending to all my friends. I would recommend working a little on the presentation. This app could go viral if it had a more professional looking logo and a better name.
Straightforward, simple but does everything you need, create and store loops etc as well as the usual speed and pitch. Mainly I like how big and easy the buttons are, when you have an instrument in your hands it's easy to quickly tap pause/play and quick rewind (which you can set to go back in different increments - great feature). Hopefully they don't change this aspect. You can't see the waveforms of the track but I don't think that is a problem, if anything it probably helps keep less cluttered.
