The 'AMSA Pilot' Reporting Mobile App enables Australian marine pilots to report non-compliant pilot transfer arrangements to the Australian maritime safety regulator.

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) Marine Pilot Reporting Mobile Application (App) is primarily an information-sharing tool to help improve maritime safety.

The App assists Australian marine pilots to easily notify AMSA where non-compliance with pilot transfer requirements is suspected.

Suspected instances of non-compliance with the SOLAS and/or ISO requirements associated with pilot ladders and pilot transfer arrangements should be notified to AMSA as soon as possible.

Many useful information resources regarding pilot transfer arrangements are contained in the App including the IMO Pilot Boarding Poster, IMO Resolutions, ISO 799, relevant Marine Notices etc.

The App can also be used to report general marine safety concerns via AMSA's online Form 355.

User's must accept the 'User Agreement to gain access to the App.

For further information, or to report technical issues with the App, please contact the developers 'App Wizard' via email to info@appwizard.com.au.

Looking after Marine Pilots safety

A great app, easy to use, allows Marine Pilots to easily report defective Pilot Ladders for a follow up AMSA inspection and also contains info & standards for the Pilot to explain to Masters/Officers, on the spot, any issues or observations. 10/10, thanks AMSA

Multiple Photo Attachments

Great initiative!
We need to be able to select more than one photo from our photo library to attach to ladder reports.
