Software that works
The Annke cctv device is third such device I have had. It’s the least expensive, but everything as good as the other similar more expensive options that had failed on me. The main thing is the software interface is miles ahead. The iPad app is very usable. It stays logged in all the time. I bought a second Annke device and it’s simple to switch between them. Very happy
Strange software.
Sounds like a Geiger meter every time you log in. Popping sounds. Default is audio to every cam.
You need to turn off the audio on the cams to get rid of the Geiger meter sound affects, or turn your volume down.
It does not remember a SORTED list in favourites.
When you do go to favourites you first have to click on it and it takes you to a list of cams to approve? (Why, it’s a list I have already chosen and put into a particular order.) Then exit that list and click on it again to load your now UNSORTED favourites. By the time you load your (unsorted favourites) list. What ever you were trying to look at is long gone. Why not just load the list of favourite cams in the order it was saved? It was meant to be favourites (just a few cams).
It works, but the constant irritations get the better of you in the end. Hence this review!
They really need to sort the app and make it a bit more usable, friendly and quieter.
Works well
Great response time for alerts. I little difficult to setup detection zones. Once you work it it is easy after that. Didn’t work from web version but did within Apk.
