Description
The ANZAC Day 2020 mobile application will deliver and guide you through the Driveway at Dawn service this year. It contains either a live broadcast of the National Service from your own country or a pre-recorded short recitation of The Ode, The Last Post, a minute of silence and Reveille.
On April 25th, 2020 at 0530am (local time), the National Broadcast in Australia and New Zealand will commence. At this time, the candle within the application will light. At 0555am, you will be prompted to move to the driveway of your home, in preparation for the reading of The Ode, sounding of The Last Post, observance of a minute of silence and the sound of Reveille.
During this tradition, we ask that you show your respects to those who are serving, those who have served, those who have given their lives and for their families and descendants.

Sound didn’t work
I used this app this morning for ANZAC Day. The radio had been working when I turned it on but it had stopped at 5.30am.. Went out to my driveway and the sound hadn’t worked when the Ceremony had began and I had to use a radio service from my phone to hear the Ceremony
I think this app would’ve got five stars if there was sound.
Has now worked for me
I have had issues all week with the same problems as people mentioned (setting location would just close the app). I have just deleted and reinstalled each day and finally this evening it worked for me beautifully. I have an iPhone 6 so perhaps just try deleting the app and then reinstalling to see if that also works for you. It didn’t work tonight so I deleted and reinstalled and then it worked straight away with all the features. Great work by the developers on getting this set up in such a short time frame. Will be using it on Saturday.
extremely disappointed.
this app claimed it was going to play The Ode, sounding of The Last Post and a minute of silence etc but 6:00am came and nothing. all that happened was text appearing saying Lest We Forget and that’s it. disappointing. waited for 15 mins for something to happen and absolutely nothing. other than that one star simply because I respect this app for being created and the ability of choice of flag etc but was extremely disappointed as i was relying on this app for all these features and it didn’t deliver when it claimed it would. anyways, Lest We Forget.
