Apple TV remote

I called Apple support this morning and spoke to an amazing gentleman named Anthony. I was enquiring about a past generation Apple TV remote and he helped me so much with trying to find it and it made my day. I would highly recommend to use Apple support for anything regarding there devices they are amazing.

I did also have a little joke around about with the Apple TV remote about how much easier it would be if it had find my phone/device on it and the lovely gentleman Anthony said it’s a great idea and I should write a review.

Utterly disappointed

The Apple support people have always been wonderful . Unfortunately for years I blindly trusted Apple with everything . If I messed up I could always rely on support for support . Late Jan I lost my phone and I could not remember my Apple ID password .

I had always trusted that apple would be able to help me out in such a situation . We place so much blind faith in them . For the first time I did not have insurance and I had to find almost a $1000 for a basic new iPhone .

To my horror I had to create a new Apple ID . We pay the premium because our lives get bound to our iClouds. For the next month I try to take out Apple care . Meanwhile apple accepted 7 payments for subscriptions that are linked to my original Apple ID . They can’t reset my password but they can take my money even though they are aware that I can’t get access to my old Apple ID . My credit card can only be linked to one Apple ID . I can not use it on my current Apple ID . Which means that I can not pay for my Apple Care insurance until Apple is able to unlink my credit card from the Apple ID I can’t access because I forgot my password and I lost my phone .

Worst customer service


I purchased an Apple MacBook Pro, newest IPhone and additional Apple Care support.

While I may be the most unlucky person, two devices from Apple were deemed major mechanical fault and provided a replacement.

Lost data because apparently Apple don’t or can’t be bothered to provide consistent and accurate advice. The response - sorry but bad luck?!!

If only the replacements worked. I paid for premium Apple care plus (something in my view you’d be mad to obtain) and have received appalling customer service. If I could give a minus for customer service I would.

Told by a ‘manager’ over the phone that he was the highest person to approve any proposals. I asked him whether he was in a position of power - being did he have a manager or whether he was on the board. A resounding NO.

Apple - you are a joke. Your service is appalling. Your products are faulty and no customer service to resolve the same. You portray yourself as market leader and it is abundantly clear that it is not in customer service and resolving faulty products.


Apple - you are a joke. Don’t get pulled into the representations made by Apple or their third party sellers. You will get no where and be left with devices that don’t work.
