Great game! But…
This is a great game overall but it could have some improvements. For example (I’m not sure if this is just me) it’s a little too easy. You could make it a little more challenging by adding other obstacles other than the water and bricks. Also a multiplayer option would be cool. And after you jump off the slide to the finish and the NPCs are much further behind than you they just automatically teleport to where you are after you cross the finish line. One last thing, sometimes I cross the finish first and the game says something else like “you were fourth!” Or “you were last!” That really confused me.
Anyway this is a great game except for these few things. 🙂
Good game but few things to work on...
This is a really good and addictive game to play - I play it nearly every day. It is quite obvious that your opponents aren’t actually real people though, they always have the same names such as USA, kangaroo, pirate and paracetamol. If you think there are too many ads, you can simply turn off the WiFi or your internet connection. There are also some errors when you slide off the slide then you appears like waaay higher than where you were when you slid off!!!! Then you try to land on a slide and you go through it!!! This gets really annoying, especially when you’re soooo close to the finish. Another thing is that the other players are ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS, like one or two seconds behind you when you dive into the pool or lake, even though they weren’t even CLOSE to you when you last checked!!!! Otherwise I think this is a good and surprisingly simple game to enjoy for people of all ages.
Hype?
I really don’t get the big hype about this game. Although yes it is fun and addictive, you’re being lured into a false belief that the other sliders are actually people, because I have strong evidence that they are not. Not only are the names of the sliders hella generic, like ‘USA’ or ‘pirate’, but there are also sliders that have names that were probably just pulled out of the dictionary, like ‘paracetamol’. As well as this, at the beginning you start right at the end o the line. If you were actually playing against other people, you would all be on the same starting point. As well as this, whenever you land back onto the slide in first may I add, ‘second place’ always catches up within a few seconds even though they when you jumped were nowhere close. Finally, when you do get the luxury of coming in first with no one behind you, the list of places is already given whereas the sliders haven’t even reached the bottom yet and you are the only one in the pool.
The developers in this game are giving us false sliders and even putting a nationality behind their name (yeah sure, paracetamol is from Germany).
