Set up is painful

You have to download the instructions but can’t do it on your phone as you need that to set it up. Why not put instructions with the camera? The set up is time consuming, sends you round in loops and is one of the most painful things I have had to set up. If I hadn’t paid so much and had it wired into my new car, I would have asked for a refund already. I have had my new car for 3 weeks and still have no camera because there is one issue after another and the car yard have been less than helpful. I do not recommend this camera as the minute I step out of the car, the app disconnects and every time I get back in, I have to set it up all over again but it doesn’t record so it takes live video but what use is that without the ability to record.

There is instruction booklet in every box, I can only assume the box may to have been passed to you.

Your phone connects to the camera by a local wifi network, so of course when you leave the proximity to the camera your wifi connection will drop out. You do not however need to be connected to the camera's wifi for the camera to work, in fact we dont recommend being connected to the camera unless you are wanting to access footage or change settings. If your camera is not recording it may have been stopped when accessing the settings or footage prior and not restarted again. You can tell if the camera is recording if the red light is flashing. If the red light is solid the it is not recording. Connected to the camera and start the recording. The red light should flash. Okay cool yes I had a problem with app

And I spoke to Nancy through the email on the app and I She explained everything to me it was unreel once they explain it all to me it was difficult but as soon as I spoke to the Nancy it is fantastic it’s very difficult to set it up by yourself so realistically send them an email through the app and Dale get back to you in 10 minutes half an hour maximum so if you have any problems just send him an email thanks Nancy you’re a lifesaver and it’s sad to see so many bad reviews on such a great dash cam All you really need is the knowledge how to work it cheers and thanks Nancy for your help

Open your eyes and ears!

Seriously the developers of this app and the devices must be deaf dumb and blind as well as either stupid or just don’t care at all about the users of these. 99% of the reviews tell you that the app is impossible to setup so do something about that instead of just ignoring it and forcing people to contact you for help. That is seriously idiotic. Do better and customers might have the experience that they want and deserve rather than become increasingly frustrated by the difficulty setting up and operating everything involved. I agree with everyone else that this is the most user unfriendly app I have ever encountered. Honestly the other 2 positive reviews are completely fake and must have been written by the developers themselves. Nobody else can work with this!
