FED UP WITH RADIO COMMERCIALS?
Audials does not display any banner ads in the app, nor does it play commercials. However, some broadcasters earn some money by playing radio advertising.
Radio stations which would play an ad directly after you tuned in, are marked by Audials with an "Ads" flag.
It’s up to you as a listener:
Do you like a radio station, and do you want to support the radio producers? If not, just search for a similar, but ad-free radio in Audials.

Just downloaded this app after using another unamed app for several years. They recently took away the recording feature and now the radio stations that i love to listen to. Love your recording feature. Please don’t get rid of this. Also it would be great to be able to pause and rewind live radio. That would make me give you 5 stars. Keep up the good work.

The fact that we had to remove the recording really rankles us. But unfortunately it's clear who calls the shots in the AppStore. We as a small developer team unfortunately have no chance, and must adhere to the specifications. But there's no doubt: as soon as we see a chance to reinstate the recording feature in compliance with the guidelines, we will certainly do so.
Thanks also for your suggestion to pause/rewind in livestreams. We call this "timehifting". A very (!) complex thing to implement, but also very great! Hopefully we can implement this in the future.
Recent Stations
It would be great to delete stations from the Recent Stations list. I usually just use Recents and occasionally search for particular artists to find new stations. Many stations play ads or aren’t great for other reasons. If you could swipe left then delete from Recent Stations, then eventually a list of well liked stations would appear minus the less desirable ones and this list could then be saved as a favourite list or you could just continue to play Recents.

Scheduling a recording
I was looking everywhere for an App that could record a radio station. This is it. I am puzzled about not being able to schedule a radio station to record at a particular time though (ie when I’m asleep). I found instructions but they made no sense for my iPhone SE 2020. Is this something I should be able to do? Is it different for an iPad maybe...
