Audirvāna Remote App allows you to control the Audirvāna software running on your computer from your mobile device and enjoy your music more freely at home. To use Audirvāna Remote:
- Open Audirvāna on your Mac or PC and install Audirvāna Remote on your iPhone or iPad

It’s a Great Remote.
Functionality and features are great. Can build playlists from the remote also is good when you’re background listening. Just be sure that your devices are on the same wifi network to get the remote started. if you have a router that does dual band. Ensure the devices are tuned to the same wifi band or the remote will not see the computer. Also you can use the iPad or iPhone as a wifi hotspot with your computer and the remote will find your computer very easy. Hope this helps.
Imperfect but useful
I love Audirvana for the superb sound quality over UPnP. The remote is extremely useful, but it does frequently drop connection with the Audirvana server. Every time the iPhone or iPad locks, connection is lost. Reconnecting is sometimes instant; but mostly takes 3-30 seconds or so. And in every listening session it will completely fail to reconnect at least a few times. It is frustrating but still it is better than no remote.
Enjoyable
Running Audirvāna on my Mac, upsampling to DSD. The sound quality is a extraordinary! This app compliments the Mac app nicely and I use on my iPad as well. There are a couple of small bugs like the levelling showing as a db value in the Mini Player iOS app when not engaged on the Mac but it really isn’t an issue. Streaming with Qobuz works very well. A recommended app in conjunction with the Audirvāna for Mac.
