With the death of shift jelly’s weather app, I have found myself searching for a replacement. This is probably the closest, but I’m hoping it will continue to develop. Two main things: Out of metro areas the chance of rain button in the middle of screen never seems to show the mm range (ie I never know whether it’s 70% chance of 2-5mm, or 70% chance of 50-80mm.... It would also be more useful if the tide had a slide that showed the current time/tide, and displayed time and height as you move it (much like the main forecast panel in the bottom left of the main screen). Would spend the money on the HD version if some of the bugs were fixed.
Bug in the synoptic
I’ve just downloaded this app for iPad mini 4. There is a bug in the synoptic window where by if you wish to stop the play history mode, the App crashes and closes if you tap or touch the ‘play slider’ at the top of that page.
It would also be useful to be able to pull and reposition the radar maps. I live on the edge of the closest 65 k region of Melbourne and would be good if it could be pulled more centrally on the viewing area.
Hope you might be able to adjust these considerations so that I can re rate your impressive App. Thank you
The app always pops up request for upgrade. However the basic version needs to get some things fixed.
1. The min & max temp for other locations
2. Weather forecast for "tomorrow" is always out of date after midnight
3. The current weather is usually not up to date if you compare against BOM
I am happy to upgrade. If the basic version has issues, it gives me no confidence that your full version is not the same
