Description
Tennis in Australia isn’t like tennis anywhere else in the world.
In January, Melbourne Park vibrates in waves of breathless excitement as the music pumps, the sun shines and the drinks flow. This is a place where the victories are harder fought, rallies more punishing and post-match interviews a little more candid. The Australian Open just hits different.
The official app for the Australian Open 2024 allows you to follow all the action in ways you won’t find anywhere else.
Want to keep across the best points from each match? Our immersive Stories highlights have got you covered.
Maybe you’re after a full press conference from your favourite player? They’re all here.
What about the day’s top highlights? Head to our Videos section for all the action on and off the court.
Just checking a score? The latest scores, draws and schedules are what we do.
You can also customise the app, so you get to experience the AO your way.
Simply set your favourite players, and we’ll customise the app, so you get your favourite players' real-time scores, draws and match highlight videos front and center. You’ll also get notifications when your favourite players’ matches are about to start, so you never have to miss a point.
If you’re lucky enough to be joining us at Melbourne Park, the “Visit” section of the app has got you covered with:
• Easy access to your tickets
• Personalised itinerary planner
• An interactive map displaying the best route and journey time to every part of the AO precinct.
• All the info you need about what is happening around the precinct, including world-class restaurants, bars and shopping

Ratings and Reviews
Awesome app! Loved it!
I found the AO App this year to be really easy to use and quite addictive. A great way to keep on top of all the matches being played. I especially loved being able to easily switch between the schedule and scores, and clicking into matches or players for more information and statistics was amazing. Thanks for all the hard work on this!
Disgraceful & disappointed !!
After attending the AO on Saturday night I can’t help but express my disgust and disappointment of how this tournament was handled in regards to covid rules. Announcing over the PA is NOT acceptable as the only enforcement for patrons wasting face masks. At least 50% of patrons were NOT wearing masks. Only once did a AO staff member walk the aisle and request people put their mask on. We moved seats as none of the six people directly surrounding were wearing a mask. You should have had security requesting people wear the mask or they would be removed. What is it with the live DJ area? Why create an area to encourage people to stand around drinking under the current climate. Security has to ask patrons to get down off chairs, and masks, forget it, no one wearing them. More like a music festival than a tennis tournament. Surely just a revenue raising super spreader area. Unfortunately we visited there to get food, however couldn’t get out of there fast enough. The only saving grace is we were able to move to seats with no one surrounding us, in fact others moved as well stating they were uneasy with the people around them not wearing masks. I did notice on the television coverage most people were wearing a mask, and this was very misleading. I know it would not have been easy to police this situation, but more could have been done to protect your patrons.
Bring back previous seating rule
I attended the AO with my two sons, on Wed 17th Jan. We had seats in Margaret Court Arena. I have attended the AO for many years but I am disappointed that the rules have changed regarding people entering the stadium during games without end changes. I found this very disruptive, and very annoying, when we were trying to watch a game. People in front of us stood up to let others pass them in the middle of a game! It was deuce and a tight match, and I found it very rude that others did not care about interrupting your view!!!
Please bring back the old rule of entering in seats at the change of ends only. Myself and my older son have been many times where we had to stand outside the stadium and watch the screen before entering. At least this didn’t interrupt others. Not all patrons wait for end of the games before trying to get to their seats! This was the most disappointing aspect of the AO this year. Please bring back the old rule. New rule changes don’t always improve things. And surely it can’t hurt patrons to wait outside for 2 games!!!
