Good but can’t access documents

I really like this app, easy to use and has all the information you need at your fingertips. Would have been 5 star review except you cannot view documents on the iOS app. You only see statements so if you get an email saying document waiting you have to go online to access the document. Interestingly, when you access online you are encouraged to download app with a teaser to win an iPhone! You can’t view documents on iOS app. I sent email last month asking how to access, waited days and then phoned your contact centre as someone had left a message. Waited in lengthy queue and eventually spoke someone who couldn’t help other than lodging a request for IT team to look at app. One month later no change. On reflection perhaps 3 star but will leave it at 4.

Hi Diddledi, Thanks for taking the time to rate our App. We will look at your suggestion of adding a document centre to the App. Currently, via the App you can access your half yearly and annual statements. We will look at expanding this in future releases of the App. Kind regards, Aware App team

Frustrated

I am in Bali on holiday and have run out of money! On Wed ., April 29, I posted an application to withdraw $1000 from my account. On Tuesday, April 11, I called to see when the money would be sent and was told that it was being processed by the processing team. Arriving in Bali, I received a message on Tuesday, April 18 asking to be contacted. When I called, after 8 attempts ( phone reception is poor) I was told that I’d need to close the account as insufficient funds would be left after the $1000 was processed…I agreed and was recorded as agreeing and told that this would be processed. Today, April 21, I called to ask when the the amount would appear in my account only to be told by Zoe, Customer Relations (who was quite rude in her manner) that it hadn’t been processed and that I’d need to agree in writing to close my account! When I explained that I’d already done this verbally last Tuesday, she said that she’d pass on the information to the team but couldn’t tell me if/ when it would be done! So I’m in Bali, run out of money, can’t get any real help or advice and having started this process nearly a month ago to avoid just this, am extremely frustrated!!!

Useless App

I usually use the app via my iPad and am unable access my inbox within the app. When I called Aware a number of weeks ago re this I was told it’s a glitch and to just log in on a computer! Fortunately I have a desktop computer as I work from home, but many people no longer bother and use their handheld devices for everything, iPad in particular. As of this morning I’m still unable to access the inbox via iPad.
Apart from the above, I generally find the app difficult to navigate and feel it is certainly not user friendly.
