Definitely worth downloading the app. Booking a clean up is SO easy. I also requested a bin repair. I would still have a bin with one wheel if it wasn’t for the app making it so easy. However, I look forward to more services being integrated into the app. It would be great to include sections to report illegal dumping, pot holes, park repairs etc. The app could be used for so much more. It does include a contact page but including the categories in the front menu will prompt locals to be proactive in their community.
Surely a fantastic app to have as it makes life so much easier to contact the council for small matters like a missed collection, book a collection or repair a bin! Most of all you can check your bin collection day if you are not sure when the yellow lid bin will be collected since this happens fortnightly and sometimes we can forget!Great initiative introducing this app and looking forward to more features being added.
This app is amazing. Has all the information and features I need when it comes to our local Blacktown council. Everything is handy and available at your fingertips .
I am using this application since many years, it’s showing what changes are happening in my waste bin service and other council departments regarding the cleanup, thank you
This is a super handy app that has lots of tidbits of information about my local council area, from basics such as bin collections reminders, handy info such as booking a clean up, even local events.
“b Informed”? Too clever by half. Too clever to use the name Blacktown? Won’t even show up on a search on iPhone using “Blacktown”. What’s wrong with the Blacktown logo that is familiar to all residents? Then the user might be able to recognise the icon. Many people have hundreds of apps on their phones. They’re supposed to remember your oh-so-clever one-off name for the app? Aldi uses Aldi. Bunnings uses Bunnings. Service NSW uses Service NSW. Coles uses Coles. Etc. If the council is so ashamed of its name, change it to “b Informed Council”.
