Bambu Handy 17+

It’s burning through the battery and making my phone warm just having the app open. Otherwise the app is okay, it’s not breaking any barriers and isn’t nearly as slick or as cool as the printer it’s self.

The app in previous versions has been great and worked really well to monitor prints for issues and see how they are going. However since the last update the app no longer sends a notification of an error in the print to my push notifications and you can only see the error message upon opening the app and viewing the print progress. It only push notifies print complete or cancelled. This negates the purpose of having an app to monitor our prints. As it may be hours before I can check the progress to see if there is an error. Also it’s only want to connect to the camera when it wants and keeps throwing camera connection errors when trying to view the print. What’s the point of the app now if it doesn’t notify or we can monitor the printing correctly. They seem to be focusing more on the makers world part of the app than being usable for printing.

I love the app for reviewing current print jobs and reprinting old jobs, but currently it doesn’t have the function to print anything stored on the internal sd card, which kind of defeats the purpose. They also have notification issues, but it is getting better with every update. I’m currently trying to uninstall and reinstall to try fix the lack of notification I am receiving (yes I do have all notifications turned on and it set to notify me on iOS settings but nothing comes through). Love Bambu and the X1C. Hope the slicer and app catch up soon
