Functional but needs more features
I recently switched from a big bank to BoS to take advantage of the interest rate on a transaction account. However, I'm conscious that I've left behind a lot of really useful features.
For example basics like fingerprint authentication to login to the app, quick glance to show balances and recent transactions without having to login at all, and the feature I miss most of all – the ability to withdraw cash using the app without my debit card.
These sound like bells and whistles, but when you come to rely upon mobile and digital banking they become a must and mean a great deal in terms of overall satisfaction.
I really hope BoS are able to introduce some of these features, which seem to be provided by most if not all of the five or six other institutions I also bank with.
Just BASIC but GOOD
One can perform all basic financial task in the app however nowhere close to top banks app.

BOS - you can do better
Like others reviewing this app, I’ve left a ‘Big Bank’ to join Bank of Sydney. However, as customers we need more than just good interest rates. The BOS banking app is a poor substitute for those associated with bigger banks. Easy, intuitive functionality is critical if an online banking app is to be useful, and sadly your current app lacks this. Your customers are increasingly going to rely on your online platforms, so please make the investment in a GOOD app.
