Good for encryption but dated

Probably the best thing about BBMe is the encryption you get. Rest of the offerings you can get better and more polished on other platforms.

If you live through the dated UI (hope they update it from the decommissioned BBM Consumer), there are some nuances like unable to locate what was the last read message you were in a group, makes the app counter productive to me.

Also, the groups with their own chats, todos and calendar was something unique about BBM in the past, however BlackBerry has also removed the feature.

If BBMe has to survive and want users to pay after the first free year, then they need to implement things which can make them above others.

At the moment, there’s too little and too late for everything.
