Fantastic! 9.5*
Extra 1/2* would be earnt if I could write years of birth as “99” (as in 1999) or “06” (for 2006) and just be more specific myself if I needed to have an older date (like 1899, or 1906) - as I have found it defaults to the year 0089 for my birth year when I tried to just write “89” instead is 1989! Other than that, fantastic!!!
No longer supported
This app is no longer supported by developer. Their website does not work. No way to contact them. Last app version is 3 years old. It’s the same for other apps by this developer although you can find out who developers are and even try to contact them via LinkedIn. I couldn’t be bothered despite purchasing upgrade that is not fully functional.
So what happens when you pay - you won’t be able to sync your devices - can’t create profile. However you will be able to change the background. Not sure about ads - I don’t seem to get any so that’s a plus.
Notification / alarm worked for me on the day of birthday but not as a reminder.
Despite issues, I really like the app’s simplicity and clean layout without too many features - which is exactly what I wanted. It gives you a good overview of birthdays / events coming up and some basic features such as countdown.
Very Disappointed
I have had this app for years and I have kept all my birthday reminders on it. It plays a little birthday tune every morning it is someone’s birthday.
Lately it kept crashing every time I tried to open it.
I tried to find support to help but there is no support. So in the end had to delete losing all my data. When I downloaded again it opened up fine. Which was little use to me then as I have lost all the birthdays. Won’t be downloading again will find a different app. ☹️
