time for some bug-fixes/updates please

using macOS ventura, m1 mac

frequently crashes and brings the music app down with it, connot be resurrected without system restart, also the menu bar icon needs updating

Worked well until I moved my music to a NAS

I enjoyed BitPerfect for some years, using the Mac’s optical output into a high quality external DAC. Due to a growing music collection I moved my music files to a Synology NAS. iTunes continues to work perfectly, however BitPerfect no longer plays anything (silence). I have fully uninstalled and reinstalled BitPerfect and set the music folder access permissions to the correct location on the NAS, however the problem remains. I couldn't find any relevant help on the site so I sent an email to BitPerfect support but didn’t get a response. Very disappointed.

mostly good with irritating flaw

Does a great job of matching bit depth and sample rate output to DAC to the sample rate and bit depth of tracks and integer mode seems to improve the sound markedly. But BitPerfect will not play gaplessly no matter what combonation of settings I’ve tried (including with or without fixed indexing engaged). Without BitPerfect running, iTunes handles gapless playback correctly.
