The Official BlackVue Dash Cameras app.
The BlackVue app supports all the BlackVue dashcam models with Wi-Fi compatibility.
Four modes: BLACKVUE CLOUD, BLACKVUE WI-FI, INTERNAL MEMORY and BLACKVUE BATTERY.
Access your dashcam in a direct connection over Wi-Fi. To do so, connect first to your BlackVue from your phone’s Wi-Fi Network menu.
Once connected, you can go to the BlackVue app’s BlackVue Wi-Fi menu to access all the videos stored on your dashcam’s microSD card, check Live View to adjust your camera’s angle if needed, and modify your BlackVue’s settings.
You can also apply a firmware update over-the-air (FOTA) after downloading the firmware to your phone. If you are already connected to your BlackVue, make sure to connect to an Internet-enabled Wi-Fi network to download the latest firmware from the app: the Firmware Download option is accessible from the sliding menu (swipe left to right in the Main Menu of the app).
Once you have downloaded videos from your dashcam to your phone, they will appear in this menu. From here, you can organize your files into folders and save videos to your phone’s photo/video album.
BlackVue Cloud is a BlackVue-exclusive service (with subscription plans available) that lets you access your BlackVue from anywhere, anytime, from the BlackVue app (or the BlackVue Viewer).
Creating your BlackVue Cloud account is simple and free. After creating your account, the app lets you register your Cloud-compatible BlackVue (BLACKVUE CLOUD menu) and set it up to connect to a hotspot (BLACKVUE WI-FI menu):

Most of it works. But trying to view back footage doesn’t work over the cloud only when I connect directly to it through wifi and when I try to download footage over the phone I generally don’t have all day plus some to download a couple of minutes of footage it is just crazy slow to download.
It also constantly cashes if I try to view footage over the cloud.
Trying to locate certain footage of looking for something specific seems very difficult as the whole app is slow so you have to click on each footage individually and work out where that footage was then try to work out what footage to click on next because there is no simple way to find what your after because it picks up random things all the time such as events when going over speed bumps and stuff like that, and if the sensitivity is adjusted too low it won’t pick up an event if there was a minor crash. There also doesn’t seem to be a simple option to transfer footage to the computer without removing the sd card
Can No Longer Scan Through Videos On Playback
I just downloaded the new Blackview app and found that I can no longer scroll through my videos when I connect to the camera like I could before. I used to be able to scroll forwards and backwards through the videos by using the slider bar at the bottom of the screen using my finger and you could see the video fast forwarding in real time. Now when I touch the slider bar it does nothing except move the video view itself on the screen and very rarely it might jump to the point my finger is on rather then fast forward or reverse to that point. This is very annoying as you now have to watch the whole video through rather than skipping or fast forwarding through the video while being able to view it. I can do it ok when I view videos saved in my internal memory so something has changed.
Broken under iOS 13
I have decided that since my cameras are now absolutely useless I will contact the Victorian Consumer Affairs department. I want a full refund for what I paid for the cameras. I will NEVER by your brand again.
I’ve had the cameras for two months and haven’t had any problems. As soon as I upgraded my iPhone to iOS 13, I can no longer access the wifi of the camera. I have the 750 dual system. Have tried with other iPhones on iOS 13 and none work. Used my iPad prior to iOS 13 and was able to access the camera. Now that the iPad has been upgraded, that too is locked out.
An urgent update is required please.
