The first time I’ve installed it, I found the way you lose very annoying, even though the game play was really addictive, like when I first saw Tetris when I was a kid. As long as you’re making the right moves, the algorithm helps you by giving you the expected pieces to clear each stage. The moment you make one mistake, it’s anywhere between hard and impossible to get out of trouble. Also, if you leave a game half way, it’s almost guaranteed you’ll lose every time you continue later.
Lately, I don’t know if it’s the iOS update, or the game itself having a memory leak or something, it’s slow as hell. I’m running it on an iPhone 15 Pro Max, so the phone isn’t an issue, but it feels like the CPU is throttling, to the point I’d get a couple of frames per second in some complex levels, or it may be swapping a lot. I’m talking about even after a clean reboot, with no other apps in the background. It wasn’t like that when I started playing it for the first time.

PRO’S - Love this game it helps to calm my anxiety especially when out and about, I’ll do a level of the adventure game and it reduces my anxiety. Levels get harder and unlike other games who use a small number of sequences to complete the levels, in this game there is a great number of different strategy plays so that it’s not in any way repetitive (each game is always different and requires a different pattern to achieve the goal),

Con’s - there is no option to pay to remove adds or purchase the game for a fee with no adds. I would be happy to pay a one off fee to be able to play this game with No adds. There aren’t as many adds when you first start out but as you get thru the levels the adds seem to increase or during peak periods eg time of day, coming up to and after Christmas ect but they do settle back down to time of day so I tend to avoid using it during those times. I can understand that these apps get paid for each add you watch and more for watching the entire add but I’d much rather pay an up front cost for a good product than have that good product be an ok product due to adds.

This game is without a doubt rigged, but in a good way if that makes sense. I gave it 5 stars because it is actually a really good game. The ads are a little bit annoying and I’m not sure if there’s an option to remove them, but that’s how they make their money so we need to put up with the ads unfortunately. The game is definitely worth a download. It is very enjoyable to play for a while. Back to why it’s rigged… The creator is definitely smarter than I am because they’ve worked out ways to make you lose with the pieces that are supplied after you make one little mistake. As soon as you create a ‘gap’ they stop providing the pieces that will work to help get you out of trouble. In the beginning, they supply the exact pieces you hope for, until you make that first mistake. The idea is for you to try to beat your top score, and watching ads is the only way you’re able to do that. So even though the game is rigged, it’s definitely fun to play and worth the download👍🏻
