Description

Korg's Bluetooth MIDI Connect allows you to easily connect Korg's Bluetooth MIDI compatible controllers such as microKEY Air, nanoKEY Studio and nanoKONTROL Studio wirelessly with your Mac.

It's super handy! You can open the Bluetooth MIDI connection panel from the System Menu and make a Bluetooth MIDI connection without needing to always open the Audio MIDI settings.

Keeps dropping out

Korg MicroKey Air37 keeps dropping out. The app will connect to the keyboard for about 2 seconds, and then it disconnects again. Will change this review to 5 stars when this is fixed.

Doesn't connect (update: Connects after flashing the Device)

Has stopped working since Monterey. Where's the update? Also took 3 years before it worked with iPhone. Beware of the microkey air.

UPDATE: Changed from 1 to 3 stars. After many confusing download options I found the hardwired patch for the microkey air but it wouldn't connect via USB-C to update on a new macbook. So off to an OLD macbook and older macOS and it connected via USB 3.0. Flashed the gadget and finally returned to working on my new macbook. I doubt most consumers would work all this out. At least it finally works on all my devices via Bluetooth. Don't bump it though or it will drop out (latest iOS and bluetooth connection).

Please try connecting from Audio MIDI Setup - MIDI Studio - Bluetooth Configuration.

Terrible!

Ugh! I bought a nanoKONTROL Studio specifically for the wireless connection and it RARELY works - and then only for a minute or so then drops out. I've tried absolutely everything. Korg, fix your firmware and get the bluetooth working properly. You're better than this.
