Stay here if you are coming to Tsefat
This is the place to stay if you are visiting Tsefat. From the moment I arrived Susan made sure that I always had everything I needed. The Inn is in an old stone building brimming with history that has been lovingly renovated. My room was very large and comfortable and I had a window seat that looked out onto a beautiful courtyard and another courtyard which had an amazing view over the hills and out to the coast. Susan gave guests a free reign of the dining area which she laid out with food and drinks at all times. There was an Nespresso machine and an assortment of teas. She cooked breakfast for all the guests that smelt really good - and she catered for my vegan diet with the most delicious food. I stayed over Shabbat and Susan opened her home to me and invited me and a table full of other guests to join her family for dinner which was so special. She helped me find synagogue services and she even organised for me to have lunch the next day with another family which was also an amazing experience.
Don't spend your time looking elsewhere - if you want a memorable and wonderful stay book the Artists' Colony Inn.
I stayed with you guys last week from Tuesday to Thursday and because I was enjoying your apartment so much we decided to stay an extra night I couldn’t suggest to anyone any more highly what a fantastic set of apartments you have. To have them serviced to go out and come back in to have your bed made , new towels are there , bins emptied etc. not just that feel so safe and secure in your apartments really means the world to have such a nice set of receptionists always at the front desk makes a world of difference and I know but I’ll be staying in the future whenever I need to get a break or whenever I need to stay in a hotel or an apartment Again. Maybe that’s why I’m staying there again this week coming for a couple of nights again you guys really do show what a true apartment should be
Cheap, friendly, not much else
The Red Roof Hotel, nearby Dallas Fort Worth airport (in fact under the flight path) is really a motel, at best 1980s in style. The counter staff are friendly, and if you ask them something they will tell you. But almost zero information is volunteered. They have an assured clientele of flight staff, and are obviously not too bothered for other business.
The room, though clean, has very little to commend it. The shower pressure is weak. There are no toiletries other than a soap bar and a single sachet of shampoo. My room had an ‘air conditioner’ which seemed to have no effect on the room, while the heater control had no control button: ‘It must have been stolen by some kid’, said the man asked to come and open the safe for me. (You can’t use the safe unless you ask for this service!) The ‘airconditioner’ made more noise than an airplane. Sleep was impossible with it on.
Coffee is available at reception, otherwise there is no food at all. They rely on a ‘Denny’s’ next door, which offers every kind of fatty food you can imagine.
This hotel is cheap by local standards. In every sense of the word.
