Easy to use
I have been looking for a drop and drag audio book player onto my iPhone as I find the audio book section of the apple book app is cumbersome in that iCloud gets involved in the delete process , you have to sync the books and I always get stuck with books that I don’t want, those with multiple chapters are cumbersome to listen to. I can’t seem to put the books into folders eg for my grandchild. With this app I just used AirDrop to move the file into BookPlayer. I am still new to the game but I don’t feel I have a million copies all over the place.
Beats other Audio book players
I love this Audiobook App. BookPlayer is the first audiobook player that I have found that can import mp3 audiobooks that I already own from Dropbox and the Apple Files folder. You can even create a playlist if there are several map3 files for the one audiobook. Most other Audiobook apps only want you to by their audiobooks or pay a subscription fee, and don’t allow you to import your own mp3 books.
Best of all it is an Apple CarPlay app so I can listen to my books while driving, have Maps up and voice activate Siri if a phone call comes in. Brilliant!
Bookplayer is user friendly
I’ve been using bookplayer on my laptop and Ipad for a few years now. I use it for audiobooks and podfics and it works awesomely with both. It’s the only app that allows me to change reading speed by 5% intervals and the sleep function makes it easy to set a timer that suits me best. Never had any issues with file formats or any of that sort of stuff. It’s simple, easy to use, and I haven’t had any problems. 5 stars.
