In this highly enjoyable mixture of strategy and tactical action, you fortify your island base with real-world weaponry, manage your economy and amass armies to storm enemies’ beaches and seize their resources. To succeed in destroying other players’ strongholds, you’ll need to think strategically and make smart decisions on the fly. Boom Beach offers polished, compelling gameplay enhanced by excellent sound, an amusing visual style, and easy-to-use controls.
WARSHIPS
The new warships are an AMAZING idea but supercell just missed the mark. Unfortunately, unlike everyone had hoped for, warships favours pay to win players. Now it is true that there is definitely only so far a pay to win player can get with skill level but for free 2 play that is simply not the case.
The pay to win players purchase the monthly subscription of instant troop training, this includes warships. Therefore they can attack in warships battles non stop. Attack after attack, ranking up through the tiers fast.
The training times in warships are absurdly slow. If I use a basic HOOKA strategy and my army dies, my zookas won’t be trained for another 3.5 HOURS! This is absolutely ridiculous. I either have to wait for extremely long, or spend 100 diamonds on finishing an attack that I might not even win!
This is so dissapointing because warships is so fun and the concept is absolutely amazing.
The pay to win players get endless fun, but the free to play players must wait usually more than an hour before the can have fun again.
The only suggestion I have is to SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the training times in warships, or rework how the training is done.
Fun but a waiting game
I like this game, it’s really fun, however it gets a bit annoying when you have to constantly wait for buildings to get built or upgraded, can take over 7 hours. Which makes it hard to stay involved and I usually end up leaving the game and playing something else and coming back later when it’s finished. I can use diamonds to speed it up, but then I would run out of diamonds and still have to wait. But all in all I do recommend getting the game if you like battles, it’s pretty good and I don’t regret downloading it. It’s a great free game.
UPDATE: I have actually not played it in a while now, I lost interest because of the waiting game. Especially when you loose characters in battle and have to wait up to 24 minutes to get them back. This type of game is a play here play there, when you make us wait that long, we leave the game and life goes on and then all of a sudden it’s been a year
