Great for planning
Just loaded it and am getting the hang of this new program. So far it looks great and although it takes effort to learn it has great potential. In the next few weeks I get a great chance to evaluate at sea. Integrates well with Zeus 3 and my plotter. Took a while to learn how to plan on mg Mac at home as it seems aimed and easier for PC users. An up front intro for Mac users would help. John Mach 1
Huge and Sudden Issues
Very suddenly my app has been giving GPS signal warnings for the last few months forcing me to close the app and start it again just to get signal. I’ve tried both on land and on the water with and without reception.
When we go offshore and there’s no reception my maps HRB and Shader used always load and without fault but suddenly they refuse to load and have left me with zero detail on my maps when out diving / trying to find very specific spots. Offline maps have zero detail so it would be nice to have them download HRB and Shader for us waiting more than just navigation maps.
I’m not sure what happened. The app was amazing and I absolutely loved it and now to me it’s almost unuseable. Any tips would be awesome
Unable to sign in on my lowrance devices
Hi guys, having issues logging into my C-map account on both of my sounders. I have a HDS 12 Carbon and an elite FS9.
A year ago I had no issues singing into cmaps on the elite however I am now unable to sign in on the elite as well as my newly purchased carbon. Both units are running the latest software.
I go into settings, then features, then press sign in to Cmaps. It is mainly for data transfers. Once pressed I see a black screen with an orange loading bar at the top. The bar loads but nothing happens, the screen stays black.
If I press the pages button it jumps me back to pages but still unable to sign in.
I have confirmed internet connection, re booted both units, attempted to do the units seperate and so on.
Please send some advise in relation to a fix fort this issue.
Also the app on the iPhone has terrible functionality, you cannot press back as the screen has a dead space, this is also common on the lowrance app.
Please get back to me if there is a fix for the sign in.
