This is the viewer app for CameraFTP cloud surveillance and recording service. You can view / play back cameras in your account, or view shared / public cameras. CameraFTP.com offers a revolutionary security and monitoring service for home and business. It is compatible with most IP cameras/NVRs. You can save camera/NVR cost by using CameraFTP Mobile Security Camera app or CameraFTP VSS software. With CameraFTP camera apps, the live view and 2-way video calling features are free. It is better than IP camera or Baby Monitor. CameraFTP also offers free trial and very limited cloud recording service for free. You can optionally order a low-cost cloud recording service starting at only $1.50-$2.50/camera/month.
CameraFTP has far better features than regular security services. It is very easy to setup. You can use webcam or smartphone as IP camera, saving the cost of buying an IP camera. Your footage is uploaded to CameraFTP's secure data center. It is more secure than a regular IP camera or CCTV DVR system that records data locally and can be destroyed by an intruder.
With CameraFTP Viewer, you can easily monitor or play back the recorded footage from anywhere. You can also share or publish your cameras for other people to watch. CameraFTP Viewer app does not save images or videos on your device unless you explicit tap to save images/videos.
I guess you mean our Mobile Security Camera app? That app can use your smartphone or tablet as a cloud-recording IP camera. If there was a bug, it had been fixed many many years ago. If you have any problem, the best way is to contact CameraFTP support via email or phone. A problem is usually fixed in just a few days.
CameraFTP is a cloud recording service provider. We offer cloud storage to IP cameras and DVRs. So there is no need to save images or videos on your device. The Mobile Security Camera app will only cache some images/video clips on your device. But most of the files will be uploaded to CameraFTP cloud and removed from your local device.
Neither the Viewer app nor the Mobile Security Camera app is required to use our service. Most users use real IP cameras or DVRs. They can view the camera using any web browser. Just log in to www.cameraftp.com and they can view their cameras online.
If you have an old/spare smartphone or tablet, you can use it as an IP camera and save the cost of an IP camera; if you have a spare PC/laptop, you can use it as a CCTV DVR system by installing CameraFTP VSS software. Please visit www.cameraftp.com and click Software for more info.

Thank you for reporting the problem and sorry for our late reply. If you had any issues, the best way is to contact CameraFTP support via email or phone. A problem is usually resolved in just a few days. App crash is rare. Occasionally we might release a buggy version, such problem is almost always fixed within a couple days.
Pleas note this app is part of our cloud recording, surveillance, home & business monitoring service. You don't need it to use our service. You can use any web browser, just log in to cameraftp.com website and you can view your cameras. You can also try our CameraFTP Viewer app for Android and Windows.
The most important part is to configure a camera to upload footage to CameraFTP cloud. Most users use real IP cameras or DVRs. If you have a spare smartphone/tablet, you can use it as a cloud-recording IP camera by installing CameraFTP Mobile Security Camera app, saving the cost of IP camera.
