Great app
Overall this is a great app. I like how the pins are always displayed in their exact location even when you zoom out (other apps group the pins together which I don’t like). Offline access is perfect. Filters work quite well, and they’re persisted across sessions which is great. However, the ads are super frustrating - it would be nice to be able to remove ads via an in-app purchase. Also, when I open the app it often freezes for about 5 seconds. But yeah it’s still the best app for NZ.
Extremely useful in planning our trip
Love that it’s interactive with people updating it all the time with comments and photos. I found many campsites that weren’t advertised elsewhere, especially the free camping sites. Would be good if the “details” section showed the entire description of each place, as on iPad it only shows a few lines then gets cut off. Also there are many foreign comments (which is great) but the translator doesn’t work and I can’t read German unfortunately. All in all though it’s the best camping app I’ve used.
Useful in planning
Have only just downloaded this app., and have not used it on the road yet. But it looks extremely promising, and should be extremely useful in practice as well as in planning a trip. Great information, useful tips and comments section is good. Agree with others that incomplete descriptions are a bit annoying. Interactive aspect and current updates outstanding! Thanks for this App.
