Description
Canasta is the popular card game of the rummy family also known as Argentine Rummy. Use of joker cards makes the game unpredictable and very challenging.
You play as a team with computer opponent against computer team. Pick up cards and fit them into groups (melds). Group of seven cards called canasta and allows team to finish the round. Points go for the melds, the first team scoring 5000 points wins.

Some Incorrect rules that need fixing
1. You cannot use the entire deck to make your initial meld. You can only use the top card.
Right now, the deck can fill up with a ton of cards, and picking up the deck allows me to use every card in it to meld with. Ie I can make 120 with like, a pair of 4's in my hand and nothing else, provided there's a ton of points in the deck. This is just plain wrong.
2. Once a canasta is made, you can't pick up the top card from the discard pile as if it was just normal points on the table.
If my team makes a canasta in 4s, and my opponent subsequently throws me a 4 onto the discard pile, I can't pick up that 4. (Unless for some reason I ALSO have a pair of 4s in my hand). Once a canasta is made, you can't use it to pickup cards from the discard pile.
3. If the deck is frozen, and I'm trying to make a meld, I need to have my meld points "in hand" PLUS a pair of whatever is on the discard pile in order to pick it up. Top card in a frozen deck does NOT go towards your initial meld.
4. When a "natural" canasta is made, you put a RED card facing up on the canasta pile. (Which its why it's called a 'red canasta'). Canastas with jokers in them you put a BLACK card on the top of the stack.
5. If you cannot meld, red threes count AGAINST you if your opponent goes out.
In Australia, can only get the easy Game
I love the easy and would so dearly get the rest of the games! In the easy game the partners are totally predictable, so you need to play as a one sided partnership and you need to sometimes play differently to get the opposition and your partner to guide all of them to do what you want to win about 99% of the games. I don’t
I don’t know why we cannot buy it in Australia, but when I can it will be bought immediately because I enjoy the gameplay of the easy version and I know the game can get better in the medium and hard options.
Canasta
I have always enjoyed the game of canasta, now I can keep up my skills. It makes you think, how can I outwit the other opponents. Sometimes I call a red herring, I might have say five cards the same in my hand. I will sacrifice a couple of cards, to see if the opponent will throw me the same card, especially if the discard pile is high or frozen. It has worked for me in the past. Well I hope you get as much joy, as I do.
