EconomyBookings - Car Rental 4+

I booked a vehicle via Economy Bookings website. Received my voucher after paying my deposit confirming my booking. Was then told car I booked wasn’t available. According to the company reservation procedure printed on their website, if car booked wasn’t available, you would be given a similar alternative vehicle or a free upgrade.
Well that’s the false and misleading information they have on the site. The truth of the matter is, they send me an email saying the car I booked and they confirmed is not available and the alternative vehicle will cost me an additional $449. They ask me do I what this ? When I say no I want what your website promises they cancel the booking and sent me an email saying I will be charged a cancellation fee. They later revoke this saying I will get a full refund but am still without a rental car for my holiday. Absolutely pathetic. Seek alternative rental company

This app is terrible! They rip you off, you pay twice for the extras you ask for, baby seat, insurance etc! I had the option to choose baby seat which was $25 a day, full coverage $70 a day over four days so that’s $380 just for the extras, then the car it’s self $112, altogether $492 paid. I received the confirmation email, at the bottom of the email in tiny font written extras are excluded and paid for at counter of the car hire company! I tried calling the number provided, but no answer, why? Because it’s an overseas number and time difference no one at the office to pick up! Once I reached my destination to pick the vehicle GUSSE WHAT I had to repay $380 for the extras I wanted. I paid $872 for a car to rent. They are Scammers be careful. -5⭐️ for this app!

I got badly ripped off by this company at Edinburgh Airport with Easirent. My flight Ewan’s delayed from Abu Dhabi and the Easirent bus shuttle stop had been moved. I rang Easirent to find out to get there then they said I was late so no car available though I had prepaid economy booking for car and full insurance. I ended up paying double and extra insurance as they would not honour my pre paid booking. EconomyBookings customer service was very poor not answering phone calls etc. they were only interested in new bookings not customer service. I was totally ripped off. My reviews have been deleted twice already, so don’t book with this bunch of Charleston’s thieves and robbers.
