Certsy 4+

Certsy is an excellent way of proving credentials without carrying around a briefcase.
However, one hiccup I have come across, is Police checks, especially when required by state govt's.
For Security Licence in Qld, you need police check with fingerprint check.
This is required by dept. Fair Trade and they hold the documents.
As with Blue Card working with children. The same applies, Police check, fingerprint, bankruptcy, and not sure but also DNA.
The point I am making is that police checks have been completed and you would have to pass to obtain credentials. These checks are completed by QPS, and in the case of Blue card, working with children they may check with Federal police, and QPS.
This is the only issue I have, and Certsy can have this changed/ up to date by following up with government depts.
All the other educational certs. are followed up on.
I believe this is a great way for employers to find employees, and if prospective employees have a resume and a cover letter, everything can be done straight away.
Seek, and any other employment platform using Certsy is the way to go in saving time and money.

The app made me uncomfortable initially, but as I trust seek, I decided to try it out.

I was uploading my documents, and encountered an issue with my birth certificate. I approved it for review, and had it declined again. As I know it is the original document, I responded querying what Certsy might be finding confusing about the document. The response was that it is reviewed externally, and they are not told why it is declined. I’m waiting to find out where exactly my birth certificate went to.

Not impressed. I will be attempting to remove all my data. I’ve never had an issue when providing my right to work details directly to an employer. I will stick with that method, as not only does this not feel safe, but it’s way too much effort for what will inevitably be double handling anyway.
