The app was rebuilt from the ground app to meet the latest Apple requirements.

Updated "Service Fee" to a maximum of 5% to comply with recent Australian law changes also added iPhone 6 screenshots for the app store plus I made the application free for a limited time as I gauge interest for a new application that will even up the playing field as currently the taxi drivers are being smashed.

Apologies for taking so long for the update. Many user suggested features added: • A real Taxi Meter added which constantly monitors the vehicles velocity and works on time and km. The meter can be started at the beginning of the trip or half way through. This is a big time saver as you can prepare the total on approach. • The fare may be adjusted via keypad entry field or with our scroll wheel adjustment. Sometimes there appears to be a delay between the real taxi meter and our app but this is our algorithm waiting for a GPS signal to make a decision if a particular trip leg (section) should be charged on time or kilometres. • Added a one-click (long press) print "CASH" receipt on the print button. The single press will still print all the service fee charges when CREDIT option is on. • The location latitude and longitude coordinates are automatically filled in when the taxi meter is switch on and off. The GPS values may be overridden manually and an extra toggle option has been added by pressing the "pick-up" and "drop-off" fields. • Added an edit option to the "extras" field without the need to delete the particular extras field and recreating it from scratch. With toll changing constantly this has been by far the most requested feature. • Regarding processing credit card payments I would highly recommend the commonwealths bank new NFC (paypass/wave) terminals which are incredibly fast. After you take one out you will also need to activate American Express and Diners Club by giving those companies your EFTPOS terminal ID. • I may eventually sell some small sticker to place on your cab so that the consumer may target your taxi (in a taxi rank) knowing that you are negotiable on the service fee charge. Reducing it to 7% for your regular customers may end up being significantly more profitable due to extra work than the service fee charged.
