Description
Cinch gives you simple, mouse or trackpad-driven window management by defining the left, right, and top edges of your screen as 'hot zones'. Drag a window until the cursor hits one of these zones then drop the window to have it cinch into place.
Cinching to the left or right edges of the screen will resize the window to fill half the screen, allowing you to easily compare two windows side-by-side (splitscreen).
Cinching to the top edge of the screen will maximize the window to fill the entire screen (fullscreen).
Dragging a window away from its cinched position will restore the window to its original size.

Bring best Win7 feature to OS X
Great product and bring my favourite Windows 7 feature (Aero Snap) to the Mac. My only disappointment is that it doesn't support keyboard shortcuts, which means there's no easy way to snap a window to the inside edge of the screen when using a multi-monitor setup. Otherwise, this is a great product.

Providing functionality that the operating system really should offer (other than the full screen tile window version). Cinch is the app that helped me adjust with the leap from PC to Mac when I found I couldn't easily arrange my windows or rapidly zoom one window to full size.
no longer supported
used to be a great ap, but appears to be no longer supported. I keep getting the error message 'cinch is damaged and cannot be opened". Emailed App Support, but have not heard back from developers. Very disappointing as I purchased this ap.
Update: software works when directly downloaded from the developer website. However, because I brought the ap through the ap store I do not have a license number for the full version.
