Burn in and pixellated in Ventura - update 2
The burn in also occurs on M2 MacBook Air and on older MacBook Pro (Intel chip), so it's a problem not confined to Apple M1 chips.
Proposed solution of background blur (see Dev response 30 Dec) doesn't work for me as my wallpapers are some of my wildlife photographs, so blurring the background doesn't work.
Sadly have stopped using the app - perhaps Version 3.0 can solve the problem. Happy to troubleshoot with dev if useful.

The „burn-in“ only happens on Macs with M1 and will be fixed in the new version. In the meantime you can fix it by dragging the background blur slider a little bit to the right. Thank you.

Shows December 2023 Not December 2022
Have downloaded it a couple of times to hopefully correct it but to no avail. What a pity it ws a great app to keep a check on time

This shouldn‘t be possible, because the App uses the macOS date settings. Did you you already check your system date and time?
