Cocoon Connect 4+

It’s quite a simple device, I had it connected to my phone before I found the instructions in the food reservoir. 🤷‍♀️

It would be handy to have a power/reset/reconnect button on the app, as the camera has lost connection again. The pull down to refresh isn’t working for me.

3 small improvements that would make the system even better
1) snooze notification: have a way to snooze notifications for a set time when having visitors over there or when working near a camera
2) scroll photos: in the message centre, to move from one photo to the next we have to go back and open the next one. It could simply scroll to right or left to see the next or previous one
3) notification with me image on Apple Watch: when I get the notification on the watch and I have to get phone, open the app to see who was there. The Apple Watch notification could already come with the photo so if it is someone I know I don’t need to grab the phone

A recent (October 2020) release has fixed a wide range of issues and it behaves much better. Although I seem to have integrated it with Google Nest, I still cannot get it to display on my Nest Hub.

One remaining issue is the incessant nagging when the battery level falls to 10%. Then I get 10 messages in quick succession, then a minute later, another 10 messages, then a minute later, another 10 messages, then... you get the idea. As I type, it tells me I have THIRTY NÉW MESSAGES- I deleted the last batch a few minutes ago. Cocoon! ONE reminder every two hours is perfectly adequate. I cannot do anything about it while I am at work...!

Repeated requests for support are met with ‘please supply your proof of purchase’ - implying they have NO intention of supporting you outside the warranty period. Not even technical support. Unimpressive.
