Simple easy to use for anyone getting into crypto. All transactions very easy and fast Some of the negative feedback by others in the comments all I can say is- learn all there is out there, all crypto exchanges charge fees and sending Bitcoin is not cheap. If your going to buy sell buy sell or transfer back and forth you will lose your money in fees on any exchange I have now deposited 4 amounts with pay ID and completed 1 transfer of Bitcoin all fast and flawless I have found all transactions straight forward easy and fast with no hidden fees what they say is what you get This is a fantastic newbies app and if you want more options they have their own advanced trading exchange for the day to day crypto traders

EDIT: (NEW REVIEW) Coinjar has been working good again just like the old days. Fast times from depositing to sending crypto. Thank you Coinjar for becoming a functioning crypto on and off ramp again. You’ve restored my faith in your brand and now again offer me a solid product.OLD REVIEW: I’ve been using CoinJar for years without issues until recent times where I now have issues / delays every single time I transact. Over the last year they have been holding and reviewing every “send crypto” transaction I make, often taking hours before approving and actually sending the crypto. This is happening even after having recently re-verified my identity, answering questions about transactions and my devices, sending small amounts of around $100, funding account with PayID, stopped using a vpn whilst using the coinjar app (as coinjar requested of me) and the fact I’m sending coins to a well known third party exchange wallet address that I have sent to multiple times in the past. I understand they are trying to protect people from scams but even after doing everything they asked, the customer experience has been obliterated for me. No longer a convenient way to buy and send crypto. ….. *** that’s now fixed :) thx Coinjar ***

The CoinJar iPhone app covers most of the at-a-glance account features you might need, in a user-friendly and design-conscious way. It is straightforward to go between the CoinJar website and app with a consistent iconography and layout.Disappointing for many though will be the necessity to use the iPhone version on iPad. With the latest tools, iOS developers have never had it this easy to develop their apps for multiple devices and screen sizes, and the reasons not to do so are quickly vanishing. Unfortunately, if you’re relaxing on the couch with your iPad, phone at a distance, navigating the higher security of a CoinJar website login is currently the only alternative.It has also been more than a year now that iPhone app users have been greeted with a “Coming Soon” message when tapping on the CoinJar Exchange button. A promise never delivered upon is always harder to accept than no promise at all. It’s fine that such complex functionality hasn’t arrived yet, just so long as we’re not encouraged to anticipate it.

Giving them 2 stars the app is very easy to use (which is good, particularly for a beginner). HOWEVER, customer service is not good because even though they do respond to support requests, they are slow and when you have further questions they ignore you. I had my account blocked (because of something that was my fault). It took me 3 emails after their first response to my request, to see what was wrong with my account and if I can hang on to the money in my account. Anyways it took about 10 days for them to come back to me and ask for more info. When this info was given the final verdict was that my account would be permanently terminated and the support member told me he can’t give me any further info as to why. So I responded to confirm/check if this permanent closure means I cant never open another account with coinjar with another email... this email has been ignored to this day...Overall, my personal experience was not good
