Coles online shopping

Coles has the best online shopping, it’s user friendly. I log in on my phone internet (not through the app) and it has the category of my prior purchases, so I can scroll my regular purchases to remind me of anything I may need. You can even remove a product from your list if you don’t want to purchase it again.
You can also go back to past orders too.
Coles also shows the price of vegetables and fruit based on the weight, which tells you how much You’re actually getting, other supermarkets tell you how many eg apples you’ll get, but you won’t know if they are small or large, so you don’t know if it’s good value.
So thrilled with Coles
Delivery driver Jim from Epping is also very helpful and professional.

Don’t buy there!

So! The app appears friendly enough but first warning, you MUST turn off your VPN to place an order this is alarm bells central. However, the store completely screwed up the order and then the store wouldn’t hear me or fix it or anything, (by the way they clearly gave me part of someone else’s order too so really two order majorly messed up), then when the store didn’t care, I rang coles online…. Features hard to use with a VPN on but anyway, I get through, get hung up on, get someone who said she’d call back and didn’t and a guy who potentially flat out lied (I say potentially as I suspect he tried and it may have been the store etc and everyone who screwed up what he’d put in place)….. but this was 3.5 hours of work AFTER waiting 20 minutes to collect the order that wasn’t ready for 33min after it should’ve been….. they have refunded money of items missing but haven’t considered items I cannot use because other components to make everything are missing rendering some thing that go off useless. They don’t care! Use the app for interest in what a store has but I strongly suggest only going to a store with exceptional customer service (not Mornington-Tyabb road) or start sourcing local stores and helping those companies and IF you are in a position to do so, go to suppliers directly. Skip Coles! (Note I have had issues with Woolworths online too but nothing like this AND the store is always so great at trying to sort it all out 🤷‍♀️)

Needs massive improvement

I’d been using the browser coles online shopping and quite happy with it when a invite to the app came up.. it was useless, couldn’t find any if my bought before items on app and then when you wanted to check out it transfered me to online shopping anyway… so what’s the point of that.. so I deleted it and continued with browser online shopping..
Last week a friend was raving about the Woolies app so I decided id take another look at the comes one as No Woolies in our immediate locality.. looks like some improvements have been made including I found a “bought before “ area however I couldn’t work out the difference between “bought before, lists and trolley, except I could see on the app what id just ordered on browser online.. worse still I googled to find some instructions on how to use the app but could only find browser online instructions.. so I still won’t be using it again… and if i had a Woolies in my locality i would be shopping there anyway… our coles is a dinky comes (a small one) and I have to go to the local independent’s every week to get things coles isn’t stocking.. so coles you need an overhaul on the app at least and probably on some stores… the next closest coles is way way better than ours..
