Thank you for using the Coles App. This update includes:

* Addition of My Flybuys to the home screen to provide easy access to your digital card when logged in and card linked
* Product Scanner is now available from the home screen
* Improvement to the List aisle headers to more clearly display what aisle items belong in for your set store
* Introduced the ability to Print your shopping list and Favourites list
* Fixes to address some key crashes and bugs

Better, but still unusable

They’ve updated the app, so the design now looks much more modern. Great!

It is, however, still incredibly worse than using the Coles website on your phone. You can’t shop online in the app, which is frankly astounding in 2020. Whilst you can add ingredients to a list in the app and then export the list to Coles Online, it doesn’t have any of the features of the website (such as sorting by ‘bought before’ or filter items by discounts). If you then add items to the list and then export again, it adds EVERYTHING previously added.

The new recipe feature is useless. You can’t search for a recipe. Again, it’s 2020 and I literally have to manually scroll through the current 1,370 recipes listed. You can’t add the recipe ingredients to your ‘list’ either - you have to do it all manually, which requires you to leave the recipe and go back to the catalogue. Crazy poor design.

Latest update is a disaster

Sorry guys but the last big update is a train wreck. Surely you cannot have done any user testing with this prior to releasing to the public. Or certainly no testing with anyone that shops for any reasonable amount. You have to scroll through pages and pages in order to use it in the shop and it keeps reverting back to the top. Sometimes it removes items you have ticked, sometimes it doesnt. It lost about 800 favourites converting to the new app, so i started putting them all back in again. Then somehow it lost all the favourites in the new app. It takes ages and way too many clicks to get to your flybuys card. You are forcing people to shop with catalogues because it is too hard to see which of your favourite items are on special. The specials have not updated in weeks, so its false advertising anyway. The only redeeming feature is shop by aisle so i am bout to switch to another shopping list app. I implore you to please bring back the previous app until you sort this disaster. Otherwise i wont be back. I buy way less stuff now with the new app because the app makes shopping harder rather than easier. Maybe its great for customers that buy 5 items and dont shop for families...i wouldnt have thought they are the customers you would be targeting most.

Barely useful app now completely useless

I woke up this morning and the app is glitching again!!!!!! (Tho old problems were never fixed but I have been trying to put up with it) My flybuys was unlinked and the app told me I didn’t allow access for the camera to scan the card, well, I did and alway did!!! The app developers, you should really be ashamed of your skills. Find another job please!

Coles App was always the poor cousin of Woolies App, so imagine the excitement when I heard there was a NEW LOOK. But if you haven’t updated to the so called new look, then please please don’t bother. The new one is useless!!!!!! I have to log in to my so called account. But when logged in, I was told my online account was inactive. Well, whose fault was that seeing Coles won’t let me shop within the app like Woolies! Now I can’t link my flybuys since I was deactivated, therefore I can no longer use the bought before option. Coles you are trying really hard to lose a customer, and guess what, you are succeeding! Maybe you should look at get a brand new team to design your app!!!!!!
