Conquer the world!

Colonies at War is a game set in the 19th century during the rush by colonial powers to colonize the known world. It's a game of building armies and crushing enemies. Pick one of the 28 nations available, look for the best lands nearby, then send in your armies to conquer them. Make allies of your friends, and war on your enemies. Build your navies to control the seas and become the greatest nation in history.

BEST MOBILE GAME ON EARTH!!!

I love this game with my heart as it is one of the only games that the devs do care about and I love how you replay to every review someone gets! I have downloaded all three games you have made and I LOVE THEM! I only have 3 recommendations. The first is that can you make a game in the same style as this one, but it’s modern day. 2nd Also can you add a puppet option so instead of just conquer everything, you can puppet which makes them your Allie and gives you all there money. Lastly can you add a stability bar where if it gets to low you go into a civil war and when you take land the people revolt and you have to have higher garrisons or puppet them. ANYWAY I LOVE YOUR GAME AND CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE!!!!!

Hi, thanks for your review. In the FrenchIndianWar the towns do go into revolt, I get a lot of complaints about that. I like the idea about controlling nations via puppet gov. Next game coming out soon. Thanks john

Simple but effective

A great game which really stands out for me in a very busy genre. Its simple interface makes it quick to pick up, but it quickly gets challenging even on Easy due to escalating industrialisation, etc. Good variety in maps keep me coming back but the main thing that stops me bothering to complete levels is that the diplomacy is frustratingly unstable at times. You can go from best of friends to mortal enemies with another nation in no time at all, and can quickly find yourself at war with several counties for no apparent reason. People declaring war on you seems to create a frustrating domino effect which can make things very difficult. Add that to an outrageous “corruption” stat that takes away most of your money and your navies randomly disappearing at regular intervals and this game can be a bit tricky! All in all a fun challenge that could do with some balancing, for me.

Edit: this game takes some time to master but the challenge is great. After playing for a few hours though the diplomacy is still frustrating on the larger scenarios - one nation declaring war on you can create a domino effect through their allies that means you’re more or less at war with everyone very quickly through no fault of your own. Therefore I find not allying with anyone is the best option. There are also some bugs like your ships disappearing if relations break down with other nations sharing the same tile. Beyond that it’s a great time waster!

Hi, thanks for your review. Sorry about the diplomacy, it can get unpredictable when you have a 3-way alliance's, friendships can change very quickly. Please read advise on the website as it may explain things better. Corruption is critical in slowing superpowers from becoming unstoppable, and it's adds some realistic/historical element to the game. Enjoy the game, and learn to play with these rules and you will win regularly as i do. Just take your time. Edited: There is a new update coming out that will try to curb this domino effect, I have changed the code that forces you into joining a war with your ally against one of your friends. I believe that if you have forces in a land/sea owned by another nation that changes friendship state against you then your force will then be relocated to another one of your lands/seas area. John

Great Game

So many games make promises of being great and all the ads look promising then you play them and are disappointed they aren’t as good as you hoped. This game doesn’t standout like those, it fly’s under the radar, but it’s easy to pick up and play. An easy interface and lots of different scenarios to play, you won’t be disappointed with this game, so help the developer and let your friends know.
