I love the recipes in The Cook’s Companion.
I use computers and idevices all day so I like turning them off when I want to relax. So, I hate having to take my idevice to the kitchen to see the recipes in this app; I would rather print the recipe so that I can put grubby fingers on the page rather than on my device.
It is really annoying when app makers force the user to engage with their app in a limited way.
App no longer functioning fully
I can no longer read .the instructions after the first four lines of any recipe. Very frustrating. Not a lot of use at the moment.
App has now been fixed and all is working again as it should be. A great cookbook. So user friendly in its structure. The developers of the app have done a great job listening to app users feedback and fixing the problem. I would highly recommend this app.

App ‘Method section ‘not fully available
I have paid and downloaded both the orange and green versions of this app. Neither work properly as only four lines of the ’Method’ are readable! This ( these) apps have now cost me $40 and are only available on my iPad and not my iPhone! I have the book version but had thought this would be more convenient. I am frustrated that 1 It doesn’t work, 2 I have had no reply to a previous email and 3 I have paid for this app twice and it won’t automatically transfer across my devices like other apps ! Please respond promptly

Thanks for your feedback, and we are sorry this has been so frustrating for you. It's definitely possible to transfer purchases across different devices if logged in using the same Apple ID, by accessing the 'restore purchases' function in the sidekick menu (tap the three horizontal bars in the top left corner of the opening screen). There was an issue with the method showing properly for iPad users but this has now been fixed and an update is available. Hope you continue to find the App to be useful.
