It works but need to see ambient temp
We bought a new TM6 thermomix and got a deal on a Sensor. They are made in partnership with Meater. Both the sensor and app work really well for what they do. Supposedly there is an ambient temperature sensor in the back of the probe but the app doesn’t show it on screen (neither does the thermomix when connect to that). Instead I can only assume it used the ambient temperature measurement (your oven or bbq temp) to calculate when your dish will be cooked. Would far prefer to actually see the ambient temp of the oven or bbq because it would provide the temperature right next to the food which is really handy when smoking in a bbq.
