Exceptional!
What a great, multi use game. By that I mean, if you want to use AR, you can, if not, you can still play the game.
The AR provides a truly immersive experience, which is great to play in a room alone, but somewhat difficult to control on the larger iPad Pro, but doable and brilliant. The ability, nay need, to s-in around and see what threats are around is a whole new twist. Watching the ships come and go, is amazing, the AR experience really serves this game well.
In non AR mode, the game is a top notch, table top view style, RTS of control, conquering and counter-strikes. The movement of the ships is amazing, almost like swimming through the environment. As a top down view, RTS, this game is excellent.
I was very lucky to get this game FREE, but would have happily paid the 99c usual price, without hesitation. I truly hope they don’t destroy this game by making it a pay window nightmare. Yes, I can understand some pay options for stronger ships, maybe planet defence satellites? But please, oh please, don’t follow the greedy route. This game, as it is, works brilliantly, and deserves all 5 stars without a doubt. But I can see some possibilities for later additions, but not at the expense of spoiling the game itself.
Won’t Open
Paid for and downloaded. Just get a white screen. Am I missing something?
