A must have app for travel!
I’ve been using Couchsurfing for 10 years and wouldn’t travel without it. I’ve used it to stay with local people in far off lands, host travellers in my home and connect with people on 5 continents. This app provides an opportunity to meet other travellers as well as locals. When meeting travellers you can get to know invaluable travel tips and when meeting locals you get an amazing opportunity to soak up the local culture. It’s my absolute favourite way to travel! Many of the connections I’ve made through CS have turned into real friendships. The reference system makes it trustworthy and safe. If you’re new to CS, reach out to people on CS in your town, meet them and ask them to write you a reference. The more genuine references you’ll have, the easier it will be to find a host or a surfer. Be genuine, fill out your profile and personalise your messages! Afterwards... Have fun traveling and hosting travellers!!!
Impressive!
This app offers more than just connecting hosts with surfers. Linking you up with other travellers nearby is so helpful if you are on your own. You’ll have opportunities to explore new and exciting places for the first time with others who are also experiencing them for the first time, and you’ll get to make a friend along the way too. If I get stuck for ideas, I just check nearby events other surfers have posted. This really is the lone traveller’s best friend.
Travel Locally
Definitely the best social platform for traveling and meeting people from all over the world. I had the most authentic local experiences surfing while traveling and hosted beautiful open-minded people from all over. Always read the profile and checked references, I totally recommend it if you want to travel differently: it’s all about the people.
