If you want recurring countdowns, get this.

This is your best option for recurring countdowns. With that said, I wish the other text on the widget was bigger. The countdown title is so tiny and the number is unnecessarily big. A better balance could be struck. Also it's mildly irritating when a countdown that's supposed to be in days, switches to the final few hours and you're left with a massive number 19 and a super tiny label below that says "hours" where you've become accustomed to seeing it in days. This change in units should be more prominent.

Also the jump from 2 days to 23 hours just isn't right. It should read 1 day until the day in question, at which point it can switch to hours. For a 6 am on Monday it will read 2 days at 5am on Sunday. That's really not right. It's Sunday. The event is on Monday. That's 1 day.… on Sunday it should say 1 day until 0:00 on Monday at which point it can switch to hours.

Great app but some ideas:

Love the app and appreciate the fact that it is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription like all the other apps that try to scam you. I would like to see some options to change the fonts and maybe a larger variety of styles would be nice. Also for the icons, it would be nice for there to be an option to select an emoji rather than have to choose an icon. Just some ideas but looking forward for any updates this app may have in the future :)

Does the job

Works as expected, let’s you create count downs to selected date and have the time remaining or time since show up in a widget. However the free version only allows you to have two countdowns running at once and the pop up you get whenever you try to use a feature only in the paid version it makes you look at the pop up for a while before it lets you close it and makes the x super small.

Overall decent app however the few questionable decisions around pushing the paid version so hard mean I can’t give it 5 stars
