Cricket is a team sport in which two teams compete against each other on a field. The game involves batting, bowling, and fielding, with each team taking turns performing these three roles.
The objective of the game is to score the highest number of points, which can be earned through batting or fielding.
The batsman (the player who hits the ball) stands at one end of the field, and the bowler (the player who throws the ball) stands at the other. The bowler must throw the ball towards the batsman, who then attempts to hit the ball as far away from the fielding players as possible in order to score points.
If the ball lands on the ground beyond the boundary, this is considered a "four" and the player earns points. If the ball flies over the boundary without touching the ground, this is considered a "six" and the player earns points. If the ball is caught by a fielding player before touching the ground, the batsman is considered out.

When the batting team scores points, the other team switches to fielding and attempts to prevent the scoring of points using the agility and strength of their players on the field. The team that scores the most points wins the game.
