Problem with latest version?

I have loved this app for years, but am having a problem with the latest version both on my ipad and iphone - every so often (sometimes every puzzle, sometimes after a couple, but often enough to be really frustrating), the current puzzle randomly deletes itself halfway through. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to when this happens, and once the puzzle deletes itself and throws me back to the puzzle list, it's gone for good. I can redownload it, but of course then my progress is gone. It's very disheartening to be almost done and have it all lost - any chance of a fix in the next release? Other than that, it's an awesome app.

I was feeling like a dud doing crosswords at morning tea with my colleagues. Pretty bad for an English teacher. Thought I'd find a crossword app to improve my skills and am really happy with this. New crosswords download every day and there's a great variety. I also really like the 'clues' feature as I probably wouldn't solve many without them - not that they're all hard, but that I am a bit thick!

Only thing I don't like is that sometimes the answer is more than one word and the crossword doesn't tell you that. As some crosswords do show when there's multiple words, I'm guessing that problem is not with the makers of the app but of the crossword.

Names of those with fastest times appear when you've solved a puzzle (verifying how slow I am!) which is a great incentive to keep playing and improve. Actually quite addictive!

Fewer available crosswords all the time

On the positive side, this is a lovely App. Presentation and usability are great. Sometimes minor delays in data entry because my touch does not always get the letter I want, but this is relatively trivial.

On the negative side - initially, there were many crossword suppliers, and progressively these have reduced. Of the dozen or so that I regularly enjoyed doing, the Guardian quick went early, Others have followed. I am down to being able to access only one of the original suite of crosswords that I initially used to enjoy.

Overall - If your preferred types of crosswords are like mine, buying this App is going to be a relatively expensive way of accessing it!
