Too much Americanism
Love doing the crosswords but there is way too much stuff to do with America!!
Should be world famous not just American Famous! If you know what I mean, I’m in Australia, was brought up in England, so know lots of world related knowledge, just find its not an even balance. Don’t even get me started on the spellings!!
Geez that drives me mad.
The language is called English, not Americanish. Lol
Too easy and repetitive
I like the app. The problem with it is… well actually there’s a few problems. Firstly, it’s American based knowledge. I’m not particularly knowledgeable in US government departments and their abbreviations, for instance. Secondly, to reveal a word or reveal which letters are incorrect, I have to spend 20 coins, or 10 to show a word or get some letters. Which is annoying because I only ever have maybe 1 letter that’s incorrect, and that’s because it’s some American question. Thirdly, you only get 1 coin when you complete a puzzle. Fourthly, it’s repetitive. The same questions and answers over and over, except for the few themed questions and answers. But the rest are always the same. It needs some more thought put into it in that way. I seem to be subscribed to the app, which is fine, but so far the only thing I’m getting out of the subscription is no ads? I still have to use my coins to unlock packs. I have to use my coins for heaps of things. If I’m getting low in coins, I have to buy more… with real money. So what exactly am I getting out of the subscription? I like the app. I play it all the time. Every day. It’s just those issues above that need to be looked into.
ALSO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP MAKING THE CROSSWORDS SO REPETITIVE. IT IS THE SAME ANSWER OVER AND OVER AND OVER WITH THE CLUE JUST WORDED DIFFERENTLY.
Frustrating ads. Insanely expensive.
I’ve had this app for a long time and enjoy the crosswords and new games section but FAR OUT I feel like every week the ads get longer and longer and more frequent. Before you used to be able to skip after a few seconds after two or three games (but not before having to tap, be redirected to App Store and come back to game) Now the ads are 10+ seconds.
I legitimately will NOT buy any game via the ads simply because they’re so freaking annoying.
I don’t need additional coins but also don’t like ANY game enough to pay, what works out to be nearly $280 Australian dollars a year, for a weekly subscription.
I’ll be looking around for a new crossword app with a more reasonable amount of ads or cheaper, once off subscription and suggest who ever is reading this, does too.
