Description
This Aussie Park Guide will provide you with an informative and interesting commentary of the Daintree National Park located in the stunning Wet Tropics of far North Queensland.
It showcases the two most visited sections of the Park; Mossman Gorge in the South and Cape Tribulation located North of the Daintree River.
The Guide will also provide you with tips, directions and information to allow you to make the most of your day; whilst enjoying the beautiful sights, in your own time and from the comfort of your own car.
It is possible to see the Daintree National Park highlights in one full day but to allow sufficient time to leisurely enjoy all of the must-see locations, it is recommended that it be explored over at least two days

How does it Work?
Each Guide provides a hands-free commentary which plays via your speakers as the vehicle, you are driving, travels through the National Park.
The commentary commences automatically as your vehicle approaches unique points of interest within the Park and provides an interesting and educational narrative about each one.
The commentary details different aspects of the National park including specific locations, unique Flora and Fauna and the Park's Indigenous and European Cultural Heritage.
In addition, directions, safety tips and recommendations are also provided, so that the occupants of the vehicle can make the most of their precious time whilst exploring.
The application is downloaded via WIFI, prior to leaving, and once downloaded it requires no internet signal or phone reception to operate, whilst driving through the National park.

Daintree Guide
Our introduction to the Daintree occurred earlier this year. It was our first time to this part of Queensland. The use of the Aussie Parks Guide App was invaluable. It provided us with a wealth of factual and interesting information and ensured that we did not miss a thing on our drive - from geographical, historical, to items of flora and fauna to observe- it gave us an educational experience. The commentary was delivered in a relaxed and easy to understand way allowing us to proceed at our own pace. We would highly recommend the use of this App. It is as if your tour guide is sitting in your car with you.
Loved this app!
My husband and I took a 10 day self-driving tour between Port Douglas and Cape Tribulation and this app made the drive so much more fun, informative and interesting. It was really simple to work for a non-tech-head like myself and even allowed us to play music in between points of information. Highly recommend for anyone who hates the thought of paying $500 for a day tour crammed into a stuffy minibus with a bunch of other tourists. Can't wait to try the same company's app for GIrraween National Park.
Perfect App for self-guided Daintree tour
We used this App today as we drove up through the Daintree Rainforest. We loved it. Insightful, interesting and unobtrusive pieces of info about native wildlife, local walks, rainforest restoration projects, places of interest, and other interesting facts. Our children (ages 8 and 10) loved it as much as we did, and we found ourselves waiting for the next piece. It made our visit to the Daintree really special.
