Description
Dark Mode makes your Safari browser more comfortable, enjoyable and cool by changing the colour scheme to make web pages easier to read. Works especially well for people working during the night, in low light environments or when you want to match your browser with the new iOS dark mode look.
HOW TO USE IT
• Once you activate the extension all websites will display a darker theme. You can start the extension manually, you can schedule it or turn it on automatically (when iOS dark mode is active)
• Just press the toolbar button and you can change to a softer theme, an e-ink (paper) theme or cover the page with a translucent curtain
• You can apply dark mode for some sites only and deactivate the theme for any site

Not really practical
It does what it says it does I guess, the only issue is that you have to enable it for every page every time you visit. So if you open a page it will load light, then you can enable dark, click on a link, you do it again

Please read in the app description the "Important notes" section - it's exactly what you describe here. For the moment Safari cannot run extensions everytime a page loads, but this will be fixed soon. You can also send me an email to hello@alexdenk.eu for more details.

Just fallow the instructions from the video to activate the app on your device. Also, you have a help (in form of text) that can be followed for any device (iPhone or iPad).

Shortcuts alternative
This doesn’t work well on many sites. On desktop, I use Dark Reader. You can get something better by using the iOS Shortcuts app with the ‘Run JavaScript’ action, using the code from the Dark Reader GitHub (use the condensed code for CDN).
