DateShield tests whether this is someone to love or leave.

Use questions developed with psychologists to help you assess for yourself whether your date is a nice guy or a threat.

When you first start dating a guy, everything can look rosy. You two are getting along well, he’s paying attention to you, is texting and calling often and is soaking up every detail about you. And you feel great! If everything continues that way, a happy relationship might be straight ahead.

However, when he calls all the time, wants to know every detail of your life and suspiciously confronts you about innocuous details, the glow can fade fast. What seemed like an ideal relationship has turned toxic.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could figure out which people are trouble before the trouble starts? DateShield helps you do just that!

• Guides you through quick questions after each date
• Suggests ways to learn more about your date
• Gives you a place to record your date’s reactions and your thoughts so you can begin to see patterns
• Provides psychology-based insights into behaviors you might see
• Warns you when it picks up a dangerous pattern you might not see
• Secret Exit lets you quickly hide DateShield and go straight to another app
• Enables you to quickly alert allies & call 911 if you feel in danger

Irrational friends

Ironically one of the best things for this app is to give it to a friend. If you tried to talk to a friend but they’re too smitten to see the immense red flags in the person they’re dating you can just hand over your phone and have a good laugh as the app does the thinking for you. Or even for self analysis, it’s pretty eye opening having your flaws as a partner so you can correct them.

Date Shield

A great idea for modern times. Gone are the days where the people around you would know the person you’re dating and could offer some helpful insights. I think one of the other reviewers suggested that the app is like a friend who asks difficult questions and prompts you to think more carefully about things you’d ordinarily gloss over. The psychological insights are great as they offer an explanation for behavior you might have had a gut feel about but were unable to explain exactly why it “felt a bit off”.

Very good

Some people can lure you bit by bit without you realizing it and by the time you do, you’re in too deep. This app helps to keep you in check with your emotions and is like a friend who makes sure you don’t decide irrationally by asking questions but ,Unlike a friend , does this without judging. About time for something like this App to come and this will surely help a lot of other innocent people who just want to find someone good for them. Good idea with resources in the app and also about sending a message to emergency contact.
