Story:

Your friend Sherp, an expert on nuclear aberrations, has gone missing in the Last Territories. It's down to you to find out what happened to him and uncover the true cause of the apocalypse. If you're lucky enough to survive in the days after, that is...

Great replacement game
I was a huge Durango Wildlands player. Sadly that game was shut down and ever since I have been looking for a replacement game to give me the same level of enjoyment. DoZ is very close. Much better than LDOE, crafting is more enjoyable, warehouse (equivalent of Bunkers in Last day) is much more challenging, which is great. Although I do agree with a lot of other reviewers, that the thirst/hunger metre goes down way to fast. Not only that but if you use water in crafting you lose the flask. Thirst would be much easier to manage if our empty flasks came back out of workbenches after the water was used.
Great game, please don’t do multiplayer like LDOe or any other of their games.

You can find lots of food in the Last Territories. Moreover, you receive Grilled Meat and Water every day until you reach level 100. In addition to food gathering from locations set up your own food production in your Shelter and your character will never be hungry. We will forward your words to the developers. Updated Review
UPDATE (January 2023):
I did not play this game for half a year in hope the glitches would get solved. Guess what? It still glitches out when I start the game and end up next to my sanctuary, the game just shuts down.
Please fix this!
New review: It looks like a lot of new things have been added and I would love to play, but every time I open the game it glitches out before I even can enter the shelter. What is going on? Such a shame, because this game has great potential! Old review, it was quite glitchy: Also a lot of missions are impossible to play. This game is hard and it’s glitching badly. I think there should be an option to store items fast, it takes up a lot of time. It is a shame this is not a paid game, I hate in app buying, not worth it. They gives ads as option for some things, but you get very little for that. Make this game playable for lower levels too. The restaurant mission you get the pilons for, if you don’t play that within a few days the pilons are lost and you have to start at new and no idea where to find new pilons (those were given in a previous mission) But I do like to have a game on my iPad that looks like a PC or PlayStation style game.

Same old junk
Thought this was going to be a good game for a minute. Then I found the main map and realised this is just another “raid the weaker players base” game. What a shame and what a yawnfest. Pay to win, boring grind, attack and get attacked by your neighbours. Just like half the other games on iPhone. Yawn.
Edit-response to Devs: I’m trying it out. It’s as I suspected but worse. The bags are tiny and the box system is horrible. I’m spending half the game shuffling items between boxes. Ugh. And then it’s just another “attack your neighbour and steal their resources” game. Grinding takes forever and is boring, then to have your stuff stolen? Forget that game mechanic, no way. Plus all your purchases are waaay too expensive. I’ll sling a few dollars to a game for decent stuff, but you are waaaay too greedy and only give junk in most cheap purchases. It’s a decent concept and the gameplay is ok when you actually get to play, but the balance of grind and annoying stuff vs actual fun game is waaaay off. And you’re way too greedy. Micro transactions are supposed to be MICRO (that means small amounts of money...).
